Our Journey
Our non-profit was fousnded in 2017 by Oline Spyridon, a climate change leader who has been working since 2005. At first we started as a small non-profit but we grew bigger as we made a huge difference. We are a non-profit dedicated to making a difference and reducing climate change.

About us
We at the Climate Change Protection Institute educate people on climate change and get volunteers to go and try to get people to reduce their carbon footprint and make the world of tomorrow a better place. The Climate Change Protection Institute works to reduce our carbon emissions and stop climate change. Our founder is Oline Spyridon, who has been working to reduce climate change since 2005, and in 2017 he founded our nonprofit. We have spots to volunteer every Saturday to try and convince companies to reduce their carbon footprint. If we were a real non-profit, we would be a 501(c)(3) organization.

Facts
- The IPCC’s Sixth Assessment report, published in 2021, found that human emissions of heat-trapping gases have already warmed the climate by nearly 2 degrees Fahrenheit (1.1 degrees Celsius) since pre-Industrial times (starting in 1750). The global average temperature is expected to reach or exceed 1.5 degrees C (about 3 degrees F) within the next few decades. These changes will affect all regions of Earth.
- Some of the main threats of climate change are rising sea levels and more frequent and severe weather. Rising temperatures are from humans releasing CO2 into the atmosphere which melts the polar ice caps and causes sea level rises that could flood city's.
- Scientists estimate that 30 - 50% of species of plants and animals found on earth now will go extinct by mid-century
