About Us

Our nonprofit organization is to help the wildlife of New Mexico get healthcare. Paws to Wags also focuses on finding critters a loving healthy home. We aim to support and improve the lives of New Mexico animals. We love to try and help everyone and anything we can. We were founded in 2023, by someone who loves animals. We fund our organization with the donations for the pets and stray dogs and cats of NM. We are a donation center for animals, taking food, bedding, toys, and so much more. If you wish to donate please see the pages on what you can do to help. We're not a real 501c3 non-profit, but if we were we'd be an organization dedicated to saving the lives of NM animals.

  • Only 4.4 million pets had healthcare in 2021 and 600 million pets live on the street worldwide.
  • This means that every stray dog or cat was someone's pet, or born stray.
  • Homeless animals outnumber homeless people 5 to 1.
  • Around 3.9 million dogs are given up each year.
  • Animals are a huge part of everyone’s daily life. Animals can help with therapy, give happiness, and so much more. This is why it's so important to take care of critters.
