Come volunteer to take care of the cats, or if you don’t want to take full ownership yet, you can foster a cat for a month or so. We have food and supplies to get you started if you adopt one, and we can lend you supplies if you’re fostering. You can also just come in and have a coffee with the cats, if you’d rather. They might convince you to take them home though.
We partner with Catopia Cat Cafe, Santa Fe Cat Cafe, and PHX Cat Cafe. Catopia is based in Albuquerque,New Mexico. PHX is in Phoenix, Arizona, and Santa Fe Cat Cafe is in Santa Fe, New Mexico. There are only two cat cafes in all of New Mexico.
On Saturday, May 30th, 2026, we will be hosting cat yoga, where you can come and do yoga with the cats. On Sunday, June 7th, 2026, we will be hosting an adoption event. Feel free to join us for either of these events. We will have many more events soon, so check back for more dates.
Lydia’s Catfe was founded in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in March of 2024. We hope to help all the cats we can find a forever home. I’ve loved cats for as long as I can remember, but my brother’s allergic so we could never get one. I hope you love cats as much as I do!
