16-17 Projects

During the 16-17 school year, Girls Who Code Club members worked on a group project about the gender pay gap. This is an issue that was very important because of its implications for all women. They built a website dedicated to fighting inequality in the workplace. See their finished project here.

Each member contributed to building different aspects of the website. They honed their skills using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Scratch. They learned how to display text, embed videos, and make quizzes. They also researched the issues underlying the gender gap and to effectively communicate what they learned through the website.
