Animals are affected by deforestation. More and More animals go extinct every year because of deforestation. The amount of deforestation each year only increases. In Brazil, the Amazon rainforest has lost 6,288 square kilometers of rainforest from January 1s to July 31, 2024.

Too many animals go extinct due to humans. Humans have made over 381,150 species go extinct in total. The ways humans have made animals go extinct consist of , fishing/hunting,deforestation, keeping wild animals as pets, Pollution, and many more.

Pollution is another big cause of extinction. 1st, air pollution affects animals and plants because some of the gases and pollutants can be toxic. Air pollution also damages habitats. Pollution can also get into water, and since animals drink water, and some live in the water, polluting the water is terrible.
