Wildlife can eat trash mistakenly and get sick for all the trash we litter. 558 species of wildlife and fish get affected by this trash. Also plastic waste can break down and cause even more harm.It can break down and become microplastics thes can have harmful effects on humans and wildlife.

Here in new mexico it is a constant problem with litter and it being everywhere and people don’t take care of the plant.It also grew worse during the pandemic in 2020 which doesn't really make scene since we were in doors and that is why we need to help the cause because we only have one planet so we really,really need to take care of it
More than 283 miles of road have been cleaned in new mexico science April 2022 filling 8,200 liter bags.That is because several companies have been contracted to clean roadways and by amazing volunteers .If we continue this we can live up to our state nickname “The Land Of Enchantment”.
