Fresh Food for the Less Fortunate
Reasearched Facts
Every person needs good food to survive. While many people are working hard to get food for them and their family, at least 50 million people in the U.S still rely on food drives
Even though food drives work hard to feed as many families as they can, they can’t end hunger alone. Many families cannot afford food because of lack of affordable housing, unaffordable health care, and more.
Ever since the pandemic, the amount of hungry families has increased. The price for all of the food has also increased due to inflation and demand. The amount of kids that were hungry almost doubled since 2020, especially children of color.
