Facts

About 13% of all homeless people are Veterans. That is about 35,574 people.

The reason so many Veterans are homeless is because a lot of them struggle with mental health issues and end up addicted to prescription medication.

California has just over one-third of all homeless veterans. Four states have seven out of ten homeless veterans. These states are California, New Mexico, Oregon, and Georgia.
