SPORTS FOR KIDS
The Problem
Many kids do not have money to play sports. For them, it is hard to find access to positive sporting experiences. These kids need our help, so we need to provide them with the sporting necessities they need.

Did You Know?
When kids play sports, it lowers the chance of major illness later in life, keeps a balanced weight, boosts confidence, improves academics, helps with social skills and teamwork, and helps release stress.
Lower-income families are less likely to put their kids in sports, due to price.
The price of sports gear and equipment is really expensive, leaving families in poverty limited access to play. For example, the top 3 most expensive sports are:
1. Ice Hockey- $827 in equipment
2. Football-$561 in equipment
3. Softball-$540 in equipment
