There are many ways you can learn about climate change and its effects. We partner with Little Less Litter and Endangered Lives for their help that they are doing for the planet and its animals. Learning about local organizations that battle climate change or other important topics related to it is a great way.
Climate change is affecting places all over the world. There are physical features such as rising temperatures, sea levels rising, horrible weather, and water scarcity. These impact our animals too. There is disruption in ecosystems, a loss of biodiversity, and wildfires. Our organization strives to protect those things from the ecosystems we know and love. We also try to let more people know about this, so that they can help and prevent things from getting worse.
To help in your everyday lives, consider trying to lessen your carbon footprint. Try to use less electricity when you don’t have to, try to switch to more renewable sources of energy, and more. Click here to learn more from another nonprofit, Global Footprint Network.
Our Impact
We are working to prevent healthy ecosystems from being harmed by global warming. We host events to pick up litter, rehome animals, plant native seeds, and more. We also focus on helping trees, as trees provide the building blocks of a healthy ecosystem.
Values
As a nonprofit, we value keeping our planet safe from global warming. We also oversee technology that is eco-friendly. We always try to help the animals and plants in need of care. We have a section of our nonprofit that focuses on rehabilitating injured animals. We have a greenhouse that nurtures plants that were damaged after an effect of global warming. We also host seed donations that we plant in areas that were burned or flooded.
