Kids In Classrooms
Donate
We would love to be able to take your money to donate to classroom causes, but unfortunately we are a fictional one, but if you feel strongly in this cause, or even just want to help, you can donate to the following nonprofits!
- TNTP Mission Statement: End the injustice of educational inequality by ensuring all students, especially those from underserved communities, have access to high-quality teaching, rigorous academic content, and learning environments that prepare them for success.
- All 4 Ed Mission Statement: Ensure that all students, particularly those historically underserved, graduate from high school prepared for success in college, work, and civic life.
- NEA Foundation Mission Statement: Promote public education by investing in educator leadership, sharing improvements in policy and practice, and supporting partnerships that prioritize antiracism, educational equity, and excellence.
Get Involved
There are many possible ways for you to help, but some include donating, advocating and volunteering. One way that you can help volunteer is to come out to our Classroom Officiant Projects and learn how to give teachers the experience they need in our 3 month long training courses. You will get a lesson plan and some rules and then lead the teachers through the lectures, quizzes, and finally hands-on experience.
Dates for Classroom Officiant Projects:
May 8-17 at 5:00
July 9-16 at 5:00
September 20-27 at 5:00
December 9-16 at 5:00
We would like to remind our that all of these are completely fictional and will not be taking place at all
Advocate
We want to not only change the classrooms here, but make it mandatory for the rest of the country, which starts with us making good education laws. We are advocating at Popejoy and several other places to try and make laws for classrooms. You can also help without coming to a protest. You can post about it or even just bring it up at the family dinner table. Every little bit helps!!!
