• The future of our society is in our children’s hands. When all children have the opportunities they need to thrive, we all benefit, so it makes sense to ensure that every child has access to the educational, emotional, health, and economic supports they need to grow up healthy and strong, and to become contributing members of society. We believe that the best way to ensure this is to discover the underlying reasons that some children lack these supports and then to advocate for the public policies that will address the gaps.

Our mission is to make sure people are kept off the streets and in safe hands.

Why this matters to us

This matters to me because I’d like to make sure that people can stay in a safe place when on those cold, dark and dangerous nights. When I was a bit younger, my dad volunteered at a big basketball gym, and he always held shoot-arounds on fridays to make sure that people had a safe place to be, and I always respected that. I’ve always wanted to follow what my dad did with those shoot-arounds, and I’ve wanted to expand it, with a team to boot.
