You can go to different areas, and raise others' awareness in your community. This would help us both spread the word that we are open to help people. You can even tell people on the streets, and give them directions.

We aren’t actually a real non-profit, but if you like the idea of this website, here are some other nonprofits that do similar things that you can donate to:

1. New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness

Their mission is "to assist communities in creating solutions to homelessness, spanning from prevention to permanent housing, by using action, advocacy, and awareness."

2. Habitat for Humanity

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

3. Family Promise

Family Promise's mission is "to prevent and end homelessness for families with children, helping them achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response."

Volunteer

You can volunteer to help clean up small homes, help build, or answer phone calls. These are important things to do, and would really appreciate any help given. This being said, these tasks aren't just playtime. We insist that, if helping, stay responsible, and remember that people in poverty are people too.
