🪖 World War II

Most people believe that world war 2 was started because Germany attacked poland on September 1, 1939, and the UK and France's declaration of war on Germany 2 days later. It was the biggest and one of the deadliest wars in history, spanning six hard years, and involving countries in nearly every part of the world. Sparked by the 1939 Nazi invasion of Poland, World War 2 pitted the Allied forces (led by the United States, Great Britain and the USSR) against the Axis powers (Nazi Germany, Japan and Italy).
