Since most linux distros are light weight, they run on semi-bad hard ware. But most stuff in E-waste is bad,and I think a super lightweight distro would be very good. A basic OS should be able to run on x86, index files edit files, and browse the web. It should be able to maintain PCIe 5.0, USB4,ThunderBolt4, and SATA III. It should also have a graphical user interface(GUI) since the only people who perfer to use a terminal for everything don't like convience. The final apps I've decided to include for my distro(Which is just me taking the kernel, putting a lightweight desktop enviorment on it) is:

  1. Calculator(Ti-84 on desktop, so maybe 100 graphable lines)
  2. Files
  3. Settings
  4. Docs(.txt and .pdf)
  5. Terminal
  6. E-mail(Gmail, outlook, AOL, yahoo)
  7. Chromium web browser(deleteable)
