Mission Statement

Connecting senior dogs with senior humans to inspire adoption.

Why This Matters to Me

Have you ever been to an animal shelter and seen all the old dogs just watching you out of the sad window? Or went to a senior home and saw the lonely elders? I have. That’s why I created Snouts and Seniors- to connect old dogs with our elders to socialize and inspire adoption. Some shelters will put an animal down if they are too old, but old dogs paired with old people is a wholesome scene.

Event Dates

Want to come to our events? In our events, we will bring old dogs to senior homes to hang out and play! We will have at least one event every month. This month we will be heading to Acacia Senior Housing to hang and play! Come join us and make sure to spread the word!

Shelters

Our elder pups come from a variety of shelters- even kill shelters. We have canines from Orchid Animal Shelter, The Vineyard Shelter, Bonded Rescue and Splash Rescue. We always try to get all pups from every shelter, but we make sure to get the oldest doggies first! When we bring the hounds to the homes, we carry them out to trucks and vans with safe carpet, water and plenty of toys and treats to keep them happy everywhere!
