Temporary Pets

What We Do

We socialize shelter cats and dogs by keeping them active and letting a handful of different volunteers take one home for up to a week. This helps them get used to different human environments. This ensures a better future in adoptive life for the animals because it influences good behavior for the animals.

Community Partner

Our community partner is Cheap and Cheerful Pet Sitting. The company is nonprofit like us and has experienced pet sitters available for a much cheaper price . We help their inexperienced pet sitters take training by taking care of one of our pets. These pets are not available for volunteers because it is much organized to have a reserved selection for the pet sitters in case there is a low number of pets.
